FIRST AID by Ruby Sage-Wolfe
First Aid is based off a drawing by Janna's neighbour Ruby, while cat-sitting White Cat and Baby.
Ruby Sage-Wolfe is an Anishinaabe youth from Brunswick House First Nation, and granddaughter of Evelyn Ojeebah-Wolfe, a survivor of Shingwauk Residential School. She currently resides in Northern Ontario with her family, which includes two cats. Ruby is interested in feminist anti-racism activism and using art as a vehicle for social change. Her other interests include dance (hip hop), jujitsu and Muay Thai, and writing. Her play, “The Wings That Define Us” was a tribute to her grandmother’s experience in Residential School and is anticipated to be published in 2019-2020.
